Analyzing Architectural Risk

Originally aired:

About the Session

Analyzing architectural risk is a fundamental activity for software architects or engineers who make architectural decisions. If risk (and hence architectural vitality) is not continually assessed applications will eventually fail and stop working. In this session Mark Richards shows you how to identify, qualify, and mitigate architecture risk. He focuses the session on real-world examples that place an emphasis on not only identifying risk, but also on techniques of how to address that risk as well. In this session you will learn how to identify and analyze risk associated with elasticity, security, and data integrity and the associated patterns and techniques to reduce risk and create a better architecture.
